Twice-yearly teeth cleanings prevent plaque buildup and help doctors to treat serious dental issues before they have time to develop.
Attending regular teeth cleanings and dental checkups is critical for preserving your oral health. During routine teeth cleanings, your dental hygienist removes plaque, tarter, and other harmful bacteria that could otherwise cause serious dental issues like tooth decay, gum disease, and more.
During your dental cleanings, your doctor will also take the opportunity to examine your dental condition and spot issues that can be addressed before they develop into much more painful or complicated problems.

During your exam, we’ll take a close look at your gums and note any recession. If your gum recession looks severe, our doctor may refer you to a periodontist for further treatment.
Plaque is a bacterial buildup appearing as a sticky film over the teeth. Without proper brushing and flossing, this buildup will harden into tartar deposits. Once your teeth are cleaned, we’ll remove any stains and give them a final polish to leave them gleaming.
Finally, your doctor will give your newly cleaned teeth a brief examination. In addition to physically examining your teeth, the doctor will consult your chart and x-rays to help them zero in on any problem areas or troubling patterns.
We are accepting new patients and have a very flexible schedule and are open late from Monday – Thursday to better accommodate all of our patients.
